MANILA, Philippines --- A man was hurt in a fire that struck a two-story residential building in Sampaloc, Manila on Saturday morning, the Manila Central Fire Station said. Fire Officer I Girly Codilla said the fire broke out at 3:52 a.m. at the corner of Craig Street and Espaa Boulevard in Sampaloc, Manila. The fire reached the first alarm after four minutes. It was declared under control at 4:25 a.m. and was extinguished 20 minutes later. A certain Johnson Ong was injured in the fire.
