The Philippines bowed to host Indonesia, 25-17, 23-25, 25-19, 25-20, in the classification stage of the women's volleyball competition in the 2018 Asian Games Saturday at GOR Bulungan in Jakarta. The loss placed the Filipinos in the eighth spot of the competition with only one win at the expense of Hong Kong in the group stage. Mylene Paat had 10 points to lead the Filipinos, whose last win prior to their victory against Hong Kong was in the 1982 Asiad when they beat India.
