The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) on Tuesday filed a criminal case before the Department of Justice (DOJ) against blogger Drew Olivar over a bomb scare he posted on social media. Olivar drew flak over a social media post on Thursday, issuing a warning to protesters of a possible bombing similar to that of the blast that happened in 1971 at the Plaza Miranda. Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Dir. Gen. Oscar Albayalde earlier assured that a case will be filed against Olivar even as he has learned his lesson and apologized.
