PNP assures security for reopening of Boracay on Oct. 26

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday assured the public there will be full security for the reopening of Boracay Island on October 26. Around 600 personnel composed of local police, support units, and officers from other government units have been deployed to ensure the safety of the island, said Police Chief Supt. John Bulalacao, Regional Director of the PNP in Western Visayas. Bulalacao said the Metro Boracay Task Force led by Police Sr. Supt.
