MANILA, Philippines - One person perished while at least four families were displaced when fire broke out in Baragay Pio del Pilar, Makati City at noon time Thursday, authorities reported. The Makati City Fire Station said one person was confirmed dead after a residential compound with five houses located at Taylo corner Villar Streets caught fire at 12:22 p.m. The casualty, however, has yet to be identified, fire officials said.
