BANGKOK - Shares were mixed in Asia on Wednesday after U.S. stocks finished broadly higher on Wall Street, erasing modest losses from a day earlier. Japan's Nikkei 225 index fell 0.4 percent to 21,344.93 while the Shanghai Composite added 0.8 percent to 3,020.52. Hong Kong's Hang Seng added 0.6 percent to 28,748.28, but Australia's S&P ASX 200 edged 0.1 percent lower to 6,128.40.
