BEIJING - Asian stock prices rebounded Tuesday after global markets slid on worries about U.S. and European economic growth. Tokyo's Nikkei 225 index rose 2.3 percent to 21,454.02 and Hong Kong's Hang Seng gained 0.2 percent to 28,571.71. The Shanghai Composite Index lost 1 percent to 3,012.92 and Sydney's S&P-ASX 200 was up 5 points at 6,130.60. Seoul's Kospi advanced 0.3 percent to 2,150.62 and India's Sensex gained 0.2 percent to 37,880.63. Benchmarks in New Zealand, Taiwan and Southeast Asia also rose.
