SAN PEDRO CITY --- Three suspected criminals were killed in separate police operations in Batangas and Cavite provinces, police said Thursday. In Balayan, Batangas, two suspected thieves were killed in an entrapment operation around 2:30 a.m. in Barangay Lanatan. According to a report from the Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon police, suspect Christopher Macalalad and a still unidentified companion sold what was believed to be a stolen motorcycle to an undercover policeman. During their transaction, Macalalad's companion allegedly fired his gun prompting a shootout with policemen. Both were hit and died on the way to a hospital, the police said.
