The explosion around11 a.m.in Sitio (sub-village) Cupang in Barangay (village) San Jose was caused by an improvised explosive device found on the roadside, Calabarzon police spokesperson Supt. Chitadel Gaoiran, said. The explosive was detonated just as the vehicle of the Army's 80th Infantry Battalion was about to pass by.
