SAN PEDRO CITY - Two persons were hurt in a roadside explosion that police believed was meant to hit a Philippine Army vehicle in Antipolo City, Rizalon Tuesday. The explosion around11 a.m.in Sitio (sub-village) Cupang in Barangay (village) San Jose was caused by an improvised explosive device found on the roadside, Calabarzon police spokesperson Supt. Chitadel Gaoiran, said. The explosive was detonated just as the vehicle of the Army's 80th Infantry Battalion was about to pass by.
