Myanmar to allow visa free for tourists from Japan, South Korea

NAYPYITAW --- Myanmar is planning to allow visa free for tourists from Japan and South Korea with a one-year trial period starting fromOctober 1and Chinese tourists including Hong Kong and Macau can visit Myanmar with visa on arrival in the same period, according to Ministry of Hotel and Tourism. "It should be done as tourism industry is declined. I think it will be improved again as there are direct flights from those countries," said Vice Chairman Khin Aung Tun of Myanmar Tourism Federation.
