A teacher in a primary school in Shandong, China, has been fired and detained by authorities after allegedly beating a young boy on the bottom. The teacher, identified by the surname Han, apparently hit the boy with a stick more than a hundred times, according to ThePaper via the South China Morning Post on May 23. Han was dismissed by the No. 2 Experimental Primary School in Tancheng following his beating of his young student, Wang, as per China's education and sports bureau.
