CATARMAN, Northern Samar --- An election officer and another motorist were killed while another was hurt in a collision of two motorcycles in Pambujan town, Friday night. Gerald Apelo , 45, an election officer in Mapanas town, was driving a motorcycle, heading to the capital town of Catarman from Mapanas when he figured in an accident with another motorcycle with two riders about 6 p.m. Patrolman Ramil Pedrigal said Apelo was overtaking a vehicle in front of him when he collided with another motorcycle from the opposite lane. Both vehicles swerved and crashed into the concrete. Even if he was wearing a helmet and protective gear, Apelo suffered a broken leg and head injuries....
