MANILA, Philippines --- Severe tropical storm "Ineng" is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) Saturday afternoon, the state weather bureau said. In its 8 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said "Ineng" will cross the Bashi channel as it exits the PAR. "Ineng" also accelerated as it is moves 30 kilometers per hour (kph) northwest. The severe tropical storm was last spotted at 105 kilometers north of Basco, Batanes.
