Malacaang's communications department is seeking a higher budget of P1.41 billion in 2019. The P1.41 billion budget sought by the PCOO is higher than its budget of P1.38 billion this 2018. Under the proposed budget, the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) and its attached agencies would get P1,416,645,000 in the coming year. About P642,025,000 was allocated for personnel services, P699,713,000 for maintenance and other operating expenses, and P64,907,000 for capital outlays, the proposal showed.
