An alleged drug suspect was killed by members of the Valenzuela City Police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Friday night after a buy-bust operation that led to a shootout. Suspect Joselito Toquero was killed after a drug bust along MacArthur Highway in Barangay Malinta, according to a police report on Saturday. Authorities said Toquero opened fire after sensing his buyer was a police officer. Police retaliated which led to the encounter that killed the suspect.
