President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed Ronald Gian Cardema as chairperson of the National Youth Commission (NYC). The appointment paper of Cardema was signed on August 23 but was released to the media only on Tuesday. Cardema served as an officer-in-charge following the resignation of former NYC chairperson Ice Seguerra in March. Meanwhile, the President also appointed Davao-based lawyer Alexis Lumbatan as Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) member, replacing Gloria Victoria Taruc, who retired on July 10 after completing her seven-year term. Lumbatan's appointment paper was also signed on August 23 and released on Tuesday. He will serve as ERC commissioner until July 2025....
