The Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) bill is now a step closer to becoming a law after the House of Representatives approved it on its third and final reading on Wednesday. Voting 196-6-0, the lower chamber approved House Bill 7773 which seeks to institutionalize the 4Ps, an Aquino administration-initiated program to reduce poverty and promote human capital development.
