Filipinos of every status are used to storms. Just last weekend, tropical storm Karding caused flooding in Marikina and parts of Quezon City and Antipolo. Some even likened the storm to 2009's Ondoy. There were several other problems that arose like trash in the street and two casualties. However, not everyone in the country have the same experiences during these calamities. The privileged upper-class may not feel the adverse effects as much as those who live in lower to middle-class households.
