CABANATUAN CITY - About 1,000 policemen from Nueva Ecija on Tuesday cast their votes as part of the local absentee voting (LAV). Police Col. Leon Victor Rosete, Nueva Ecija police director, said the voting that started at 7 a.m. at the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office (Neppo) compound has been orderly. Records from the Neppo showed at least 200 other policemen have signed up for the LAV but their names appeared to be either deactivated or missing. Neppo has over 2,000 personnel, Rosete said.
