MANILA, Philippines --- Winning senators in this year's midterm polls may be proclaimed "roughly within two weeks" after May 13, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) said Tuesday. Comelec Spokesperson James Jimenez said in a press conference they already have set a "tentative date" for the declaration of the 12 victorious senatorial aspirants. At the same time, Jimenez said proclamation of winners in the local elections may be "expected very quickly."
