MANILA, Philippines -- Ten people were injured in an accident that involved a trailer truck and a jeepney in Intramuros, Manila on Tuesday afternoon, authorities said. A report from the Ermita Police station stated that the accident happened along P. Burgos Avenue corner General Luna at 12:30 p.m. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) reported that the truck hit a passenger jeepney as it attempted to pass through a red light.
