MANILA, Philippines --- Over 240,000 illegal campaign materials have been torn down nationwide, according to the Philippine National Police (PNP). After 12,616 operations nationwide, 245,716 posters and other campaign materials were removed. Of all the regions, Bicol (Region 5) had the highest number of illegal materials with 36,885, followed by Northern Mindanao (Region 10) with 31,041 and Central Luzon (Region 3) with 21,734.
