ORMOC CITY --- A lending collector was arrested for purportedly killing a man in Barangay Cagbuhangin in this city at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. His neighbors identified Joseph Boncales, 31, as the one who killed Gilbert Pepito. Police Staff Sergeant Arvin Sarcilla, in a telephone interview, said Boncales and Pepito had an argument during a drinking session in their place on Sunday night. Their neighbors were able to pacify them. But on Tuesday, the two had an argument again. This time, Boncales was armed. The suspect reportedly shot the victim using a .38-caliber revolver.
