MANILA, Philippines --- The Commission on Elections (Comelec), convening as the National Board of Canvassers (NBOC), continued Friday afternoon with the canvassing of votes for the midterm elections. The NBOC has so far canvassed 107 out of 167 certificates of canvass (COCs) from across the country and posts overseas. The Comelec's latest partial and official count as of 9:30 p.m. on Thursday showed re-electionist Senators Cynthia Villar and Grace Poe leading the top 12 with 19,383,224 and 17,043,889 votes, respectively.
