CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The civil works component of the Philippine National Railways (PNR) Clark Phase 1 will start on Monday, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) said. Civil works include the construction of six commuters' stations in the cities of Caloocan, Valenzuela, Meycauayan, and towns of Marilao and Bocaue. PNR Clark Phase 1, which runs from Caloocan City to Bulacan, shortens travel time from 1.5 hours to 35 minutes. Set to be finished by the end of 2021, it targets to serve 300,000 passengers daily.
