MANILA, Philippines --- The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has arrested a total of 136 persons for allegedly buying and selling votes in different parts of Metro Manila for the midterm elections. The NCRPO reported on Wednesday that 84 of those arrested were alleged vote buyers while 52 are vote sellers. According to the NCRPO, the arrests were made from the start of the election period on January 13 until 5 a.m. of Tuesday.
