MANILA, Philippines --- Just days before election day, a 46-year-old suspect in a vote-buying activity was arrested in Malabon on Friday night. Police arrested Joel Adoza along Governor Pascual Avenue in Barangay Conception. Recovered were 17 pieces of small envelopes containing P300 worth of cash each and 15 pieces of unsigned acknowledgement receipt with the name of Mac Tiangco, candidate for Malabon councilor, and a list of "voter beneficiares."
