TACLOBAN CITY -- Close to 1,000 soldiers and police officers in Eastern Visayas have cast their votes ahead of the May 13 elections by availing themselves of the local absentee voting. The three-day local absentee voting ended on May 1 and was held at the various Army headquarters, in the case of the soldiers and in the case of policemen, at the Matapat Hall of the Police Regional Office-Eastern Visayas based in Palo town, Leyte.
