CITY OF MALOLOS -- A 4-hour grass fire hit at least two hectares of a vacant lot near the Philippine National Railways (PNR) North-South Railway construction site here on Saturday. The fire that reached the second alarm started at about 5:30 p.m. near a cockpit arena and spread widely to a residential area in Barangay Cofradia. Fire trucks from this city and in the towns of Guiguinto, Plaridel and Paombong responded to the scene.
