JAEN, Nueva Ecija, Philippines -- An unidentified man in a blue sedan opened fire at the house of a former village chief in Barangay (village) Malabon Kaingin here at 7 p.m. on Wednesday (May 1). Police said the suspect drove away after shooting the house of Roberto Manliclic, who is associated with incumbent Mayor Sylvia Austria. No one was hurt in the attack, police said.
