MANILA, Philippines --- A magnitude 4.1 earthquake jolted San Julian town in Eastern Samar on Thursday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported. According to Phivolcs, the 2:38 p.m. earthquake had a depth of 36 kilometers, with its epicenter located 77 kilometers northeast of San Julian.
