MANILA, Philippines --- A magnitude 5.5 earthquake jolted Tawi-tawi Tuesday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said. Phivolcs said the quake, of tectonic origin, was reported at 3:19 p.m. with a depth of 530 kilometers. The quake's epicenter was traced 358 kilometers southeast of the municipality of South Ubian.
