MANILA, Philippines - Heavy rainfall is expected to hit Metro Manila and the province of Rizal on Tuesday afternoon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) announced. In its advisory released 2:43 p.m., Pagasa said heavy rains with lightning and strong winds are expected over Metro Manila and Rizal in the next two hours. Pagasa said parts of Zambales, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Quezon, Cavite, Laguna, and Batangas are also experiencing heavy to intense rains accompanied by strong winds and lightning.
