ORMOC CITY - An ambulance transferring a patient to Tacloban City figured in a vehicular accident Monday morning in Barangay Ginub-an, Lawaan, Eastern Samar. Police Lieutenant Alexander Astorga, officer-in-charge of the Lawaan municipal police station, said the ambulance driven by Carlito Bagas collided with a Toyota Innova driven by Larry Silhanek. Silhanek, an American national who operates a resort in Lawaan, sustained bruises on his hand and fainted after the collision.
