MANILA, Philippines - The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) raised a yellow alert over the Luzon grid Thursday afternoon. In an advisory, the NGCP said the yellow alert will be in effect from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. The NGCP said that available capacity for the country's largest grid is at 10,870 megawatts, with demand peaking at 10,280 megawatts.
