TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol -- President Duterte has named the replacement of Bohol 2nd district Board Member Nio Rey Boniel who languishes in jail for allegedly killing his wife. Boniel's sister, Vierna Mae Boniel-Maglasang, was chosen to replace her brother last March 22 but Malacaang released her appointment only on April 29. Boniel-Maglasang assumed her seat on Friday. She took her oath before Board Member Benjie Arcamo and was accompanied by her mother Marina, Bien Unido Mayor Rene Borinaga, and Rep. Erico Aristotle Aumentado.
