MANILA, Philippines --- A thunderstorm advisory was released for Metro Manila and other areas in Luzon by the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) on Thursday. The state weather bureau issued the bulletin at 12:25 p.m., saying that heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected within the next two hours in Metro Manila, Nueva Ecija, Zambales, Bataan, and Rizal. Pagasa said these conditions will also be experienced in the towns of San Jose in Tarlac; Porac and Floridablanca in Pampanga; Amadeo, Indang, and General Trias in Cavite; Calamba and Los Baos in Laguna; San Juan in Batangas; and Mauban in Quezon province.
