MANILA, Philippines --- The southwest monsoon or habagat is expected to bring isolated rain showers in the northern and central part of Luzon, Pagasa said Sunday. Batanes, Babuyan Group of Islands, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Zambales, and Bataan will experience cloudy skies and isolated thunderstorms and rain showers. Other areas in Luzon will experience isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. Meanwhile, Pagasa is also monitoring a low pressure area located 2,195 kilometers east of Visayas area.
