MANILA, Philippines --- The Manila Police District (MPD) announced on Monday the closure of some roads and rerouting of traffic to make way for the Blessed Virgin Mary Procession. The procession will start from the Palaza Miranda in Quiapo at 5 p.m. on Tuesday (January 1) and will end back to Quiapo Church. In a traffic advisory, the Manila District Traffic Enforcement Unit advised motorists to observe the following road closures: Southbound lane of Quezon Blvd. (Quiapo), from A. Mendoza/Fugoso to Plaza Miranda Eastbound lane of CM Recto Ave. from Rizal Ave. to S.H. Loyola St. Westbound lane of Espaa Boulevard from P. Campa to Lerma St. ...
