MANILA, Philippines --- The reported screening of "Avengers: Endgame" with Chinese subtitles is indicative of the growing Chinese influence in the Philippines, Senator Francis Pangilinan said Tuesday. "Siyempre nakakalungkot na hindi lang naman yung subtitles ang problema that is only an indication (Of course it is sad, but it [subtitles] is not the only problem. That is only an indication," Pangilinan said in ANC's Head Start. "It is an indication of more and more Chinese influence [in the Philippines]," he added.
