MANILA, Philippines --- The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) has called for uninterrupted telecommunications services during the 2019 midterm elections on Monday. In a memorandum order effective May 6 signed by NTC commissioner Gamaliel Cordoba, the commission ordered all public telecommunications companies in the country to ensure that they are prepared for the expected influx of usage of their services amid the national elections. The NTC also ordered that the Commission of Elections (Comelec) be given priority in providing services.
