Selena Schulz, a thirteen-year-old author from Florida, United States, first started writing books when she saw animals that did not have beds to sleep in at the shelter. The moving sight paved the way for her to write her first book, "Cici's Amazing Birthday", which is about dogs and adoption, as per Fox13 on May 6. Today, she has completed the books in her series and donated part of her books' proceeds to various animal shelters, some even in Canada. "I've always loved animals. I think they all deserve a fair chance in life," Schulz said in the report.
