A Cathay Pacific Airways breach has compromised the data of over 100,000 Filipinos, the firm announced on Saturday, months after it discovered the security incident. This is according to an order issued by the National Privacy Commission (NPC). While the order was dated Oct. 29, NPC only released it to the media on Saturday, Nov. 10. The extent of the compromise varies for each person, but the affected data includes name, nationality, phone number, and historical travel information, among others.
