Chinese snooker duo banned for match-fixing

An independent tribunal banned Chinese snooker players Yu Delu and Cao Yupeng for match-fixing. Yu, 31, won't play for 10 years and nine months and Cao, 28, for six years although three-and-a-half years of his punishment are suspended because he expressed "true remorse". Snooker has a massive following in China, a 4,000-seat arena is being built in central China.
