Jasprit Bumrah sets new record for Indian bowlers

Jasprit Bumrah decimated Australia with a career-best 6 for 33. With this six-wicket haul, the 25-year-old Bumrah now boasts 45 wickets — the most by an Indian bowler in their debut year. Having played all his nine Tests abroad, his haul is also the most by an Indian bowler in away Tests in a year. Team-mate Mohammed Shami's at No. 2, with 43 wickets.
