MANILA, Philippines -- The Pasay City Regional Trial Court has dismissed the electoral sabotage case against House Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. This is the last criminal case against the former President after she was cleared of plunder by the Sandiganbayan. In dismissing the case, the court said the prosecution had failed to prove "beyond reasonable doubt and moral certainty despite ample opportunity and even without evidence in favor of the accused" the allegations of tampering results of the 2007 polls in Maguindanao. /muf...
