MANILA, Philippines --- It will be a rainy Christmas Eve in Metro Manila due to the prevailing northeast monsoon, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa). According to weather specialist Ezra Bulquerin, the northeast monsoon, or "hanging amihan," will bring light to moderate rains in Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Region, Central Luzon and Calabarzon.
