DAVAO CITY --- A radio broadcaster survived an attack by unidentified gunmen in Tago town, Surigao del Sur on Friday, the National Union of Journalists of the Philippines (NUJP) reported on Saturday. Jose Salinas Pimentel was on board a motorcycle on his way home after his radio program when shot by two unidentified gunmen, also on a motorcycle, Kath Cortez of the NUJP Eastern Mindanao media safety office, said.
