MANILA, Philippines --- Guards of Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) stopped a female visitor from smuggling tobacco at Surigao District Jail Annex-Lianga on Wednesday night. In a statement BJMP spokesman Maj. Xavier Solda said Jail Officer 1 Rebecca Guillen II and Jail Officer 1 Peter Gastardo at around 11 p.m. caught the suspect, whose name was not disclosed, hiding four bars of SSS trisbee. Solda said the tobacco was wrapped around the right ankle of the jail visitor. In the same statement, Surigao District Jail warden Jail Insp.
