LEGAZPI CITY - Former Catanduanes governor Rosalie Alberto Estacio on Tuesday morning at her residence in Moonwalk Subdivision in Paraaque City according to her son Rolando Jr. She was 65. Rolando, said in a phone interview, that his mother had a heart seizure around 5 a.m. Responding paramedics attempted to revive her but failed. The former Catanduanes governor had a heart problem and underwent angioplasty procedure in 2012, Rolando said. Estacio is survived by husband Rolando, Sr., daughters Maria Cristina, Maria Regina, Maria Victoria, Maria Margarita and Rolando Jr. Estacio's political career goes back to 1989 when she was elected vice governor, serving until 1992.
